The Blue Moon property hosts a polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit located in central California approximately 22 miles northeast of Merced and 125 miles east, southeast of San Francisco.

The property is a former producer with some 55,655.4 tons grading 0.062 oz/ton Au, 3.75 oz/ton Ag, 0.36% Cu, 0.48% Pb, 12.3% Zn (50,490.274 tonnes grading 2.126g/t Au, 128.588g/t Ag, 0.36% Cu, 0.48% Pb, 12.3% Zn). The mine operated between
1943 and 1945.
